Entitled HOA board members demand that new homeowners give up their designated space for another neighbor, homeowners refuse: 'Peg didn't like that. Not one bit'

The new owners of a condominium found themselves in immediate conflict with a demanding couple. 

Their entitled neighbors seem to think they possess the keys to the entire neighborhood just because they're on the HOA board. The new homeowners signed a contract that specifically stated that they would be given a designated parking spot. However, the previous owner had a verbal agreement with the HOA community board that another longtime resident, Mike, could use their spot whenever he wanted.

This specific agreement was not relayed to the new homeowners, and it was certainly not included in their contract when they signed the paperwork. Therefore, they did not have to honor the terms of something a previous owner agreed to at one point in time. However, Jim and Peg seemed to think differently. 

They argued on Mike's behalf and insisted that the author and his wife have to give up their parking spot to Mike. That's right, not to share it, not to work out a compromise… just to relinquish the space. Obviously, the author was not going to give in to the pressure. After all, agreeing to something like this so early after their move essentially gives permission for more manipulation!
